About Dr. Mariola Rivera

At The Center for Podiatric Care and Sports Medicine in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York, Mariola Rivera, DPM, specializes in wound management and the aesthetic correction of foot deformities.

She received an undergraduate degree in pre-medicine from the University of Puerto Rico. In 2012, she earned her DPM from New York College of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Rivera is entirely fluent in English and Spanish, making her not only a great addition to the team at The Center for Podiatric Care and Sports Medicine, but also enabling her to serve men and women of all nationalities with a multicultural sensibility.

As part of her training at her three-year podiatric medicine and surgery residency program at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York in 2015, Dr. Rivera learned international treatment options, becoming well versed in the most efficient and noninvasive procedures.

Additionally, Dr. Rivera received a Certificate of Commendation Award from Bellevue Hospital Center in 2013 and the New Jersey Senate Recognition Award of Professionalism from the Hand Foundation, a nonprofit supporting philanthropy and community building.
